As far back as 1864 when Marea Bright’s maternal great grandfather, Samuel Pope Davis, won the Melbourne Cup on Lantern, to the present day, Marea has had a life-long love and association with racing.

Having qualified in Millinery & Design in 1964, I have built a career and a proud reputation stemming from my passion for quality workmanship and creating innovative headwear for customers.

In 1999, Frederick Fox LVO, the Queen's Milliner invited me to London to assist him in his New Bond Street Salon where I attended clientele on a day to day basis, along with managing production and staff.

Having now realized my lifelong dream to bring a speciality women's millinery shop back into the City, I now operate out of my Salon in Melbourne's CBD creating new season stock and attending to customers.
